The meeting discussed the tasks facing the youth league organizations to carry out the tasks set forth in "Let KCU Members Become True Sons and Daughters, Young Revolutionaries, of the Socialist Country", a speech of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un at the 8th Congress of the Korean Children's Union (KCU).

Jon Yong Nam, first secretary of the C.C., youth league, made a report to be followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers stressed that the Supreme Leader's speech serves as the immortal programme which made it possible to further develop the KCU into the children's union of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and brightly showed the road ahead of the Juche-oriented children movement.

They underscored the need for all the organizations of the youth league and the children's union to intensify the work for training the KCU members to be ardent young revolutionaries who are ready to dedicate themselves to the country and revolution, deeply aware of the greatness of the Party and leader.

They also called for devoting wisdom and energy to the efforts for ushering in a golden age of the KCU work under the leadership of Kim Jong Un and thus living up to the Party's trust and expectation with loyalty.

Attending the meeting were members and alternate members of the C.C., youth league, its officials in Pyongyang and local areas and extracurricular educational officials for the youth and children.
