Members of Int'l Body Missions Learn about Drought Damage in DPRK

| Pyongyang, June 28 (KCNA) -- Members of international body missions here inspected co-op farms in Unryul, Anak and Samchon counties in South Hwanghae Province on June 27 to acquaint themselves with the drought damage. The bodies were the WFP, FAO, WHO, UNICEF, the United Nations Population Fund and EU Programme Support missions, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in the DPRK and members of the delegation of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies working in the DPRK. They understood the seriousness of drought damage and expressed the intention to offer aid for recovering from the damage. |
