Probe into Truth behind Ryongsan Disaster Urged in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, June 29 (KCNA) -- The committee for proving the truth behind the Ryongsan disaster in south Korea held a press conference in Seoul on June 26 to urge probe into the truth behind the killing of evacuees in Ryongsan by the fascist police in 2009 and apology and punishment of those responsible for the case, according to the south Korean internet paper Chamsesang. The organization presented to the police a written opinion demanding that the Ryongsan disaster be registered as a typical case of human rights abuses by the police and reinvestigation into the case be made to punish those responsible for it. |
