Rodong Sinmun in an article Friday terms it an anti-DPRK campaign aimed to cover up the truth behind the outbreak of the Korean War in the 1950s and pass the buck for it upon the DPRK.

The article says:

With no rhetoric can the U.S. imperialists cover up their true colors as provocateur and aggressor who forced the war on the Korean nation under the cloak of U.N.

They had made careful preparations to use the cloak of U.N. for the war of aggression on the DPRK from the eve of it.

They set up a "group for drafting documents" at the U.S. Department of State to bring a complaint about "armed attack by the north Korean army" to the U.N. and "justify" the U.S. forces' total involvement. Then they drafted in advance "documents" to be presented to the UNSC and UN General Assembly and even "resolution" to be adopted there.

On June 25 when the Korean War broke out, an urgent meeting of the UNSC was convened under the U.S. imperialists' machinations and brigandish demand to railroad the U.S. "resolution", which fabricated the invasion of the north into "southward invasion", as the UNSC "resolution" 82.

The U.S. imperialists also cooked up the UNSC "resolution" 84 related to the formation of "UN forces" to introduce armed forces of 15 satellite countries in the war as planned before. Under this scenario, the U.S. imperialists and their satellite forces turned the Korean peninsula into ashes and violated the Korean nation's right to existence under the helmet of the "U.N. forces".

They provoked the Korean War in a bid to wipe out the DPRK by abusing the name of the UN, but they suffered a bitter defeat in face of the heroic Korean people only to sign the surrender document.
