According to Ri Hyon Song, director of the Economic Forest Institute under the Academy of Forest Science, ten cities and counties have finished grafting high-yielding branches in nearly 2 000 hectares of Evodia daniellii forests.

The Evodia daniellii forest station in Sohung County, North Hwanghae Province secured several tons of seeds and supplied myriads of high-yielding scions to the Evodia daniellii forest stations across the country, he said, adding:

Cities and counties in North Phyongan Province have created high-yielding Evodia daniellii forests and nipped off extra sprouts and trimmed the branches in a scientific way.

Meanwhile, South Hamgyong and South Phyongan provinces have also ameliorated a large number of Evodia daniellii.
