S. Korea: School Part-time Union Goes on General Strike

| Pyongyang, July 1 (KCNA) -- The School Part-time Union in south Korea went on a general strike demanding the wage hike for part-time workers and the abolition of part-time jobs on June 29, according to KBS. Taking part in the general strike, launched in 14 cities and provinces are more than 14,000 part-time workers from at least 3,000 schools. They decided to join in the rally of the Confederation of Trade Unions at Kwanghwamun Plaza in Seoul. |
