Rodong Sinmun Slams S. Korean FM's Anti-DPRK Remarks

Pyongyang, July 1 (KCNA) -- Kang Kyong Hwa, appointed as foreign minister of the present south Korean regime, is going reckless while spouting out a flurry of invective against the DPRK. Rodong Sinmun Saturday in a commentary terms this a blatant challenge to the mindset of south Korean candlelight demonstrators who wish peace and stability to settle on this land as early as possible. Her action is putting into the shade even her predecessors who went to the grave of history after making desperate efforts to stifle the compatriots in the north, in collusion with outside forces, the commentary says, adding: What matters is the present south Korean chief executive who appointed such dolt as foreign minister. It is not hard to guess what his U.S. junket will be turned out as Kang acted as a guide. Ugly stream of invective let out by the south Korean authorities is the main cause which blocks the improvement of north-south relations. Kang Kyong Hwa should behave with discretion, pondering over what calamity her sinister tongue-lashing will invite. No matter how hard they try to stifle the DPRK in collusion with outsiders, they will face only curse and criticism of the nation and international shame. The south Korean authorities should be mindful that the people involved in candlelight actions are always watching their movement. |
