Withdrawal of THAAD, U.S. Troops Urged

Pyongyang, July 1 (KCNA) -- The Federation of University Students in the 21st Century of south Korea reportedly held a press conference outside the Chongwadae on June 26 to demand withdrawal of THAAD and pullout of the U.S. troops.

Speakers at the conference said that the south-north relations can be improved only when the U.S. stops the war games in south Korea and withdraws its troops, noting it is hard to ensure the exchange and cooperation between the south and the north without change in the U.S. policy towards the DPRK.
