Minju Joson Slams U.S. Attempt to Ignite Nuclear War in Korea
Pyongyang, July 4 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the U.S. introduced its Aegis destroyer Mustin more than 200 km into the economic waters of the DPRK side on espionage mission. It simultaneously let two B-1B nuclear strategic bombers in the sky above south Korea to have a drill for preemptive nuclear attack on major targets of the DPRK, together with fighters of the puppet Air Force. And it announced that B-1Bs would fly over the Korean peninsula more than once a month on a regular basis.

Minju Joson in a commentary Tuesday terms this an unpardonable anti-DPRK military provocation which showed why the U.S. touted so much about "nuclear and missile threat" from the north.

Since the Trump administration emerged, the U.S. strategic scheme to solve the nuclear issue of the Korean peninsula by force has reached a serious phase, the commentary says, adding:

The U.S. is mulling igniting a nuclear war on the peninsula at any cost.

Now that the U.S. has evidently made an option for a war, not for peace and stability, the DPRK can no longer remain a passive onlooker.

It is the DPRK's traditional mode and the spirit of the powerful revolutionary Paektusan army to react to a war with a total war and to the enemies' provocation of a nuclear war with Korean-style powerful preemptive nuclear strike.

The U.S. should not misjudge the stamina and will of the army and people of the DPRK to decisively and totally conclude the DPRK-U.S. standoff.
