Minju Joson Ridicules S. Korean Authorities' Burlesques

Pyongyang, July 4 (KCNA) -- The south Korean authorities staged what was called a "peace rally" and a "commemoration" with June 25, the day of outbreak of the Korean War, as an occasion to incite the hostility towards the DPRK. Such shameful charades are nothing but poor burlesques to cover up the true colors of those who took a positive part in the war unleashed by the U.S. imperialists and the ugly features of the losers, says Rodong Sinmun in a commentary Tuesday. It goes on: Such an anti-DPRK farce is not only a foolish action praising the sworn enemy who inflicted the unimaginable war disaster on all the Korean people but also the racket for the confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north to confuse right and wrong. As already disclosed, the pro-U.S. and confrontation moves by the traitors to the nation during Lee Myung Bak's and Park Geun Hye's tenures were the worst ones. The present south Korean authorities are following in the footsteps of the pro-U.S. conservative regimes steeped in sycophancy and submission to the marrow of their bones. Sycophancy towards foreign forces and dependence upon them lead to national ruin. This is a bitter lesson drawn in the history of the Korean nation and a truth taught by it. The south Korean authorities had better behave themselves, well aware that sycophancy towards the U.S. and confrontation with compatriots are never the way out but a miserable destruction. |
