Pekka Kotkasaari, chairman of the Finland-Korea Society, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

The committee decided to hold such political and cultural events as remembrance meeting, seminar, photo exhibition and film show to praise Kim Il Sung's exploits on the occasion of July 8, the 23rd anniversary of his demise.
