The three principles of national reunification, set forth in the July 4 joint statement, are a great programme common to the Korean nation that should be consistently held fast to for the improvement of inter-Korean relations and settlement of the reunification issue.

The principles should be regarded as guidelines to realize the wishes and aspiration of all Koreans for peace and reunification of the Korean peninsula.

National independence provides a fundamental guarantee and principle for resolving the issue of national reunification, and national unity is precisely national reunification.

The Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Organization extends invariable support to the struggle of the Korean people who are dynamically advancing under the wise guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, foiling every challenge of the anti-reunification forces at home and abroad.

It wishes the Korean people bigger success in the work for achieving independent reunification of the country and building a powerful country.
