S. Korea: Cheonan City Authorities' Humiliating Deed Protested

| Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- Civil and public circles of Cheonan City, South Chungchong Province of south Korea condemned the city authorities for mulling collecting a huge amount of taxes for the upkeep of U.S. aggression forces, according to Yonhap News on July 2. In June last the city authorities planned to hold a "celebration" under the pretext of introducing the city to the GIs and their families who are going to Phyongthaek, Kyonggi Province near the city. The citizens strongly reacted to the plan. |
