Among those present was Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee.

At the meeting, Ju Yong Gil, chairman of the C.C., General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK), made a report to be followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers noted that President Kim Il Sung fathered the Juche idea, the Songun idea and had led the Korean revolution only to the victory with the might of self-development as a treasured sword for the victory of the revolution.

They also referred to the fact that he provided the tradition for building a mass political organization of the working during the anti-Japanese armed struggle and formed a trade union after the liberation of the country and had led the union to fully discharge its and duty as a reliable helper and defender of the Party at every stage and in every period of the developing revolution.

They called for holding the President and leader Kim Jong Il in high esteem as the eternal sun of Juche and giving full play to the spirit and stamina of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il working class in the struggle to bring earlier the final victory in the building of a socialist power, united closer around respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
