Rosanita Campos, vice-president of the Party for Free Motherland of Brazil, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

The committee decided to give wide publicity to Kim Il Sung's revolutionary career and exploits through media and hold such political and cultural events as remembrance meeting and book and photo exhibition on the occasion of July 8, the 23rd anniversary of his demise.
