Nikolai Polishk, chairman of the Ukrainian "Treasured Sword of Songun" Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

The committee decided to give wide publicity to Kim Il Sung's revolutionary career and exploits through media and hold such political and cultural events as seminar on his exploits.
