The successful test-launch is a shining victory won by the Korean people in the protracted anti-imperialist and anti-U.S. showdown, says Rodong Sinmun in an article.

It goes on:

The U.S. applied sanctions, military blackmail and invasion through UN against those countries which incur its displeasure. Its offensive to stifle the DPRK may reach the last phase.

It is hard for the U.S., however, to use the playing card of military attack upon the DPRK.

What is ridiculous is the action of the south Korean authorities who are horror-stricken by the success of the ICBM test-launch.

If the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces persistently take issue of the DPRK's measure for self-defense to bolster up the defence capabilities and go reckless in the confrontation with the DPRK despite the latter's warning, they would meet the miserable doom.

Minju Joson in a commentary urges the U.S. to clearly see its pitiful situation and the strategic position of the DPRK, come to its senses and make a decision to roll back its hostile policy toward the DPRK, though belatedly.
