Rodong Sinmun in a commentary Tuesday denounces this as a criminal act to cover up their inglorious defeat, fan up the atmosphere of confrontation against the DPRK and further strain the military tension between the north and the south.

What is at issue is that the present south Korean ruling quarters are openly disclosing their criminal design to stifle the fellow countrymen with the backing of outsiders while dancing to the tune of the conservative forces, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The south Korean authorities have to stop confrontation racket of antagonizing the dialogue partner, if they have a true intent to talk with the DPRK.

Trumpeting about "dialogue" before doing it would be useless.

The "commemoration" clearly proves wherein lies the reason why the north-south relations have not made any improvement after the regime change in south Korea.

The south Korean authorities are well advised to stop the foolish act of challenging the nation's desire and will for the improvement of the north-south relations and peace and reunification of the country, and behave with discretion.

Those who encroach upon the inviolable territorial land, sea and air of the DPRK will meet the same fate as those who were buried in the West Sea 15 years ago.
