KCNA Commentary Slams Australian Politicians' Offending Remarks
|
|
Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- Recently, Australian politicians are busy hurling mud at the DPRK over its successful test-launch of ICBM Hwasong-14. On July 5 the foreign minister of Australia accused the DPRK of its ICBM test-launch, terming it a "provocative act of violating the UNSC resolution" and "constant threats to regional peace, global security and neighboring countries." Then, the deputy prime minister of Australia unhesitatingly let out provocative remarks that if north Korea launches a nuclear warhead targeted at the U.S., Australia would take part in military actions against it. Their accusation is just a manifestation of their ignorance as politicians devoid of any sense of the reality. It is just grumblings of the pro-U.S. conservative politicians blindly following the U.S., indifferent to the will of the Australian people. What should never be overlooked is the fact that the pro-U.S. conservatives of Australia are getting frantic in creating "phobia" about the DPRK among Asian countries, describing the rocket launch of the DPRK as a "threat to neighboring countries." As already clarified, the DPRK, being a responsible nuclear weapons state, has never posed nuclear threat to other countries and will never do so unless others intimidate it with nukes. Contrary to the claims of the conservative politicians, there are assertions among Australia's high-ranking military officers that it is necessary for Australia to take into consideration the fact that its northern areas are definitely within the strike range of north Korea as well as its consequences. This means that more realistic, rational and objective judgment is urgently required. Explicitly speaking once again, those, who are not sleeping a sound sleep, exasperated by the DPRK's steps for bolstering nuclear force, are just the U.S. and its vassal forces who have unilaterally posed nuclear threats to the DPRK for decades. The nuclear force of the DPRK is just a treasured sword of justice for protecting its sovereignty and rights to development and existence and the peace and security in the Korean peninsula and the region from the U.S. nuclear threats. Australian politicians should think twice about the consequences to be entailed by their reckless and irresponsible tongue-lashing. |
