Kim Jong Il's Feats Lauded Abroad
Pyongyang, July 12 (KCNA) -- World media reported special write-ups from June 16 to 24 to mark the 53rd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The Lao papers Vatelao and Vientiane Mai carried special write-ups titled "Immortal feats of Kim Jong Il", illustrated with portraits of his smiling image.

The papers said that history has seen not a few great persons who committed to the progressive development of humankind but none of them is on a par with Kim Jong Il as he performed titanic feats for accomplishing the cause of global independence.

The Nepalese paper Arpan and the websites of the Nepal Journalist Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Politics and the Nepal-Korea Friendship Association also carried articles praising the history of Kim Jong Il's party leadership, illustrated with portraits of his smiling image.

India's newspaper World's Mirror carried an article illustrated his photo. The article praised him for developing the WPK into an ever-victorious party that is ideologically pure and organizationally integrated, and united in action.

The Myanmar paper The New Age in an article titled "Image of a great man" praised the noble outlooks on the people and life by Kim Jong Il who lived his life as simple, always finding himself among the people.

The Syrian newspaper Al Baath, the AKP and the State Radio Broadcasting of Cambodia and the websites of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and the Anti-Imperialist Forum of Germany reported in detail the noble revolutionary career of Kim Jong Il, who devoted his all to strengthening the WPK and triumphantly advancing the socialist cause and the cause of independence against imperialism.
