U.S. Should Think Twice about Its Military Option against DPRK: KCNA Commentary
Pyongyang, July 12 (KCNA) -- The U.S. is resorting to foolhardy military gambling.

The U.S. Department of Defense is noisily trumpeting that it has mapped out a scenario for attack on the DPRK at the instruction of Trump.

Trump is also not hiding the scenario for military attack, asserting "the era of strategic patience with north Korea is over" and "the U.S. has a strong and definite scenario against it".

Stunned by the DPRK's great success in an ICBM test-launch, the U.S. staged a joint ballistic missile firing demonstration with the south Korean warmongers, let its B-1Bs fly into the sky above the Korean peninsula to stage a bomb-dropping drill. Trump formally approved the replacement of the launching tubes for Tomahawk cruise missiles of Virginia-class subs to increase their ground attack capability by more than three times. The subs will be used as major strategic weapons for attack on the DPRK.

This is just a last-ditch effort of the U.S., extremely frightened by the tremendous national strength and strategic position of the DPRK that has been put on a new level. It proves that the present U.S. administration's moves hostile to the DPRK have reached an extremely dangerous phase.

The Trump administration, which once asserted that military option had been excluded from its "maximum pressure and engagement" policy, is now openly crying out for "mounting a military attack" on the DPRK. This shows that the U.S. desperately seeks to realize its wild ambition for igniting a war against the DPRK through a sudden preemptive attack.

The U.S. is now accusing the DPRK of going beyond the "red line," resorting to foolhardy military provocations. But it is just the U.S. which has actually passed the red line.

The service personnel and people of the DPRK are fully ready to counter any reckless military option of the U.S.

If the U.S. has prepared a military attack plan for neutralizing the DPRK by force, the DPRK has also its own plan for military counteraction, the plan for reducing the U.S. into ashes.

The U.S. last-ditch nuclear war gambling will only precipitate the worst-ever disaster in which its mainland will turn into ashes.

The fate of the U.S. will become tragic from the moment it puts its military option into practice.

It is also ridiculous that the south Korean authorities are busy hiding their master's sinister plan for a preemptive attack, talking about "dialogue" and "leading role."

The U.S. administration had better pay heed to the public claims terming the preemptive attack plan unrealistic and urging it to correct its hysteric stance on the DPRK, and think twice about this.
