Present at the event were the secretary general and members of the organization and the DPRK ambassador to Cuba and his embassy officials.

The participants laid a floral basket at the portrait and paid tribute to the President.

The secretary general mentioned the feats of the President for the freedom and independence of the country and happiness of its people and the development of the friendly ties between the Korean people and the world people.

He said:

It is very just for the DPRK to further bolster up its nuclear deterrence to cope with the U.S. escalating hostile moves against the DPRK.

The Korean people are a model to be followed by the world people in the anti-imperialist and anti-U.S. struggle.

The Organization of Solidarity of the Peoples of Africa, Asia and Latin America fully supports the struggle of the Korean people to defend the sovereignty and dignity of their country and will continue to conduct vigorous activities of solidarity with them.
