Chongryon Youth Officials Support S. Koreans' No-THAAD Actions
Pyongyang, July 13 (KCNA) -- Officials of youth organizations of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) made public statements on July 10 in support of the fierce struggle of south Korean people including youth and students against the U.S. moves for THAAD deployment.

Pae Jun Ryol, vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Youth League in Japan, in a statement said the U.S. THAAD deployment was dangerous one to threaten peace and security of the Korean peninsula and the rest of Northeast Asia and ignite a nuclear war.

However, the south Korean chief executive yielded to the U.S. asserting that THAAD deployment was the "agreement" based on the "south Korea-U.S. alliance." The statement termed his behavior a suicidal act of driving the situation on the Korean peninsula into the worst phase.

Korean youth and students in Japan will oppose aggression moves of the outside forces and wage a dynamic struggle for hastening reunification of the country in solidarity with the youth in the north, the south and overseas, he stated.

Kim Hyon Il, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the Union of Korean Students in Japan, fully supported the south Korean youth and students declaring that the struggle is the action against the U.S. colonial rule and the corrupt pro-U.S. conservative forces beyond the struggle against THAAD.
