Letter to Kim Jong Un from Participants in African Regional Internet Workshop

Pyongyang, July 14 (KCNA) -- Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un received a letter from Damian Ogbonna, national chairman of the People's Progressive Party of Nigeria who doubles as co-chairman of the international preparatory committee for the Gathering 2017-Praise to the Great Persons of Mt Paektu and chairman of the African Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People, on July 3 on behalf of the participants in the African regional internet workshop held to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung. The letter noted that through the workshop the participants together with the Korean people and world progressives looked back with deep emotion upon the great career of Generalissimo Kim Il Sung who performed the undying exploits before history and humankind with his outstanding idea and theory and revolutionary practices. It went on: Kim Il Sung founded the party, state and army, established the socialist system centered on the popular masses in Korea and set a good example of accomplishing the human cause of independence and achieved the great exploits in accomplishing the Korean nation's cause of reunification. He set forth the slogan "People of the World Advocating Independence, Unite!" and sincerely helped the African countries in achieving national independence and independent development and energetically led all the progressive movements such as the Non-Aligned Movement to be true to their ideals and principles. Today the Korean people are smashing all sorts of the U.S. and hostile forces' challenges and the DPRK is demonstrating its might and dignity as a satellite manufacturer and launcher and nuclear weapons state recognized by the world under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un. The letter expressed firm conviction that the Korean people would register bigger success in building a powerful socialist country true to the guidance of Kim Jong Un. |
