Seminars and book and photo exhibition were held in the city of Sankt-Peterburg from July 6 to 14 and an opening ceremony of a DPRK book and handicraft exhibition took place in Arseniyev city, Maritime Territory.

On display at the book and photo exhibition were photos of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The works of the peerlessly great men of Mt Paektu, books and photos introducing the DPRK and handicrafts showing the wisdom and talents of the Korean people were also displayed at the venues of the events.

The director of the Russian Institute of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism praised Kim Il Sung as the greatest man who performed the immortal feats in the human history by defeating the invasion and interference of foreign forces and turning the DPRK into a socialist country independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in defence.

The chairman of the All-Russian Society for the Study and Dissemination of Kimilsungism stressed that the greatest feat among the ones the President performed is that he successfully settle the issue of succession to the leadership.

The vice-mayor of the city of Arseniyev, Maritime Territory said that Kim Il Sung was the great man who was admired by the progressive people as the peerlessly statesman and that the tradition of the Russia-DPRK friendship the President had established is still carried forward.
