DR Congolese Organization Demands U.S. Stop Pressure against DPRK
Pyongyang, July 17 (KCNA) -- We demand the U.S. stop at once the anachronistic pressure upon the DPRK at once to defuse tension and create peaceful environment on the Korean peninsula.

The Youth Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in DR Congo said this in a statement on June 26 on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.

Warmly congratulating the heroic Korean people who defeated the U.S.-led imperialist allied forces in the Fatherland Liberation War under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung, the statement went on:

The U.S., far from drawing a lesson from its defeat in the Korean war, has ceaselessly resorted to sanctions and pressure and war maneuvers against the DPRK, shipping huge aggressive forces including nuclear weapons to south Korea.

The reality proves that it is very just for the DPRK when it has steadily bolstered up its nuclear deterrence for self-defence in every way to protect the sovereignty and the right to existence of the country and the nation.

Gone are the days never to return when the U.S. could force its will on others with high-handedness and arbitrariness.

The DPRK is a nuclear power in the East and a rocket power in Asia which no powerful enemies dare to provoke.

We extend full support to the Korean people in their struggle for achieving lasting peace on the peninsula, building a socialist power and reunifying the country by their own efforts.
