Exhibited there are over 1,500 inventions and new technological achievements made by scientists, engineers, officials and inventors across the country.

Among the exhibits, presented by ministries and national institutions, Pyongyang and provinces, are achievements conducive to the development of the national economy and the improvement of the standard of people's living.

A scientific and technological presentation, intellectual product sale, etc. are to be held during the exhibition.

Attending the opening-ceremony were Jon Kwang Ho, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Kim Sung Du, chairman of the Education Commission, Jang Chol, president of the State Academy of Sciences, officials concerned and others.
