The Syrian paper Al Baath highly praised the President for setting forth outstanding military idea and strategies and tactics and leading the confrontation with imperialism to victory.

The Syrian papers Al Thawrah and Tishrin also lauded the President for making a great contribution to carrying out the Korean revolution and accomplishing the global cause of independence.
