Moves for THAAD Deployment Denounced in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- Residents and other civic and public organizations and religionists of Songju County, North Kyongsang Province, south Korea held a rally in Sosong-ri on July 13, on the lapse of a year after the south Korean Defense Ministry announced the plan to deploy U.S. THAAD in Songju County, according to News 1 and other south Korean media reports. The participants disclosed the danger of THAAD deployment and expressed the will to more vigorously launch the struggle for THAAD withdrawal. Seminars, rallies and other events of civic and public organizations and personages against the illegal and unilateral moves of the U.S. and south Korean authorities for THAAD deployment took place across south Korea on the same day. |
