S. Korean Drivers Demand Improved Labor Conditions

| Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- The Public Transport and Service Trade Unions under the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions held a press conference in Seoul on July 14 in demand of improved labor conditions for bus drivers, according to the south Korean online paper Jaju Sibo. Speakers said now drivers worked 18 hours without shift a day and traffic accidents would continue as long as the management side force unlimited service. They urged the authorities to take measures such as banning overtime work. |
