Action for Defending Koreans' Right to National Education Staged in Japan

| Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- The Friday action was staged outside the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan on July 14 censuring the Japanese authorities for banning the tuition-free program for the Korean schools in Japan. It was attended by students of Korean University and their parents, Korean residents in Japan and Japanese figures. The participants said that only the Korean schools have been still banned from payment of subsidies. The Japanese government's move is against humanity as it is an unfair ethnic discrimination and violates even the rights of the children to learn, they said. |
