U.S. Blamed for Pressing S. Korea into Renegotiations over FTA
Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the National Economic Cooperation in a statement Friday denounced the U.S. for pressurizing south Korea into renegotiations over "Free Trade Agreement".

Recently Trump let the U.S. trade mission unilaterally notify the south Korean authorities that it would get into the procedures for the re-negotiations over FTA and, accordingly, south Korea was forced into sitting before the humiliating negotiating table.

The recent unilateral notification concerning the FTA renegotiations by Trump clearly proves the impudent nature of the U.S. indifferent to the destiny of a colonial stooge for its own interests, the statement said, and went on:

By nature, the south Korea-U.S. FTA was signed as traitor Lee Myung Bak yielded to the U.S. pressure, and it is an unequal and traitorous "agreement" nothing helpful to the people's livelihood.

By this shackling "agreement" south Korea's agricultural and livestock products, fisheries market and services field were fully opened and the previous system that restricted foreign investment in the major industrial field was eased, flinging the door open to the U.S. monopoly capitalists.

All facts prove that the U.S. is a shameless dominator and predator indifferent to the south Korean economy and the livelihood of its people in order to serve its selfish purposes.

South Korea is obliged to offer not only its liver and gallbladder but also heart to the master keen on sucking all juice from the south Korean people with a firm hold on the lifeline of south Korea. This is the due outcome of the successive puppet rulers' sycophancy toward the U.S.

No matter how desperately the south Korean authorities may justify "south Korea-U.S. alliance", they can never cover up their deplorable fate no more than the puppet of the U.S.

The south Korean authorities allegedly speaking for the candlelight demonstrators should come to their senses and part with the policy of submission to the U.S. and sycophancy toward it, not moving at its beck and call.
