Kim Il Sung's Feats Remembered by Foreign Figures
Pyongyang, July 22 (KCNA) -- Remembrance meetings were held in the Czech Republic, Germany, Spain, Myanmar, India, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Indonesia between July 1 and 8 to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

The honorary chairman of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association said that Korean socialism could advance victoriously despite any ordeals, thanks to the party, state and army built by the President and to his titanic feats and firm foundations laid by him.

The chairperson of the German Communist Party and the chief of the German Group for the Study of Korean Culture noted that the President founded the Juche idea, the guiding idea in the era of independence and clearly indicated the way for accomplishing the cause of socialism.

The secretary of the Yangon Regional Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar praised the President for having achieved the single-minded unity of the whole society with his benevolent politics and pushed forward socialist construction, foiling every challenge of the imperialist allied forces.

The chairman of the Sri Lanka Society for Self-Reliance Studies said it would have been unthinkable without the President's leadership that the DPRK could proudly rank itself among world powers.

The vice-chairperson of the Thai Committee for Remembering HE President Kim Il Sung said that the President was the greatest man who gave positive support to the struggle of peoples of countries aspiring after independence.

Messages to respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meetings in the Czech Republic and Germany.
