Bulgarian and Brazilian Papers Denounce U.S. Moves

Pyongyang, July 22 (KCNA) -- Bulgarian and Brazilian papers carried articles on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle. The Bulgarian paper Iskra said: The end of World War II gave freedom and independence to many countries but imposed the tragedy of division upon the Korean people. Korea was liberated but divided into the north and the south by foreign forces. The U.S. imperialists provoked a war of aggression against the DPRK on June 25, 1950, with the wild ambition to dominate the whole of Korea. Tens of thousands of U.S. troops are still stationed in south Korea to exercise real power there. The chief executive of south Korea is just a puppet of the U.S. It cannot but be a tragedy that Korea was divided in the interests of foreign forces. Nevertheless, south Korea has continued to conduct large-scale war maneuvers against the DPRK with the U.S. The Brazilian paper Inverta cited concrete facts to disclose the brutal atrocities committed by the U.S. imperialists in the past Korean War. The paper noted that the DPRK is bolstering up its nuclear deterrence self-defence in every way to cope with the U.S. moves for a new war and nuclear threat. |
