Rodong Sinmun Saturday in a commentary slams this as the last-ditch efforts of those who are scared off by the tremendous nuclear force and bright future of the DPRK and as a foolish action taking advantage of the U.S. sanctions and pressure upon the DPRK.

The commentary says:

The adoption of "resolution" is no more than a futile endeavor in fair weather prepare for foul.

Nothing is more serious miscalculation than to assert that they can prevent the road chosen by the army and people of the DPRK with the adoption of "resolution" which is no more than tongue-lashing. The puppet national assembly left another blot in the history as it unhesitatingly conducted provocative acts of pulling up the DPRK's measure for bolstering up nuclear deterrent for self-defense.

There can be no such anti-reunification "national assembly" as it deters the nation's reconciliation and unity and builds up distrust and confrontation.

The political philistines of the NA should clearly understand that their malignant assertions and foolish actions would only precipitate their miserable end.
