V. A. Petrov, chairman of the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, said:

The immortal exploits performed by Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for the human cause of independence have been cherished in the minds of not only the Russian people but also the world people.

We will extend invariable support to the Korean people in their struggle for accelerating the building of a powerful socialist country under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un in the future, too.

The president of the Federation of International Peace Fund, who is deputy to the State Duma of Russia, highly praised Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il as the great men who made a great contribution to the development of the friendly relations between the two countries.

He stressed that no matter how desperately the U.S. and the West may work, he would boost the friendly and cooperative relations between Russia and the DPRK.
