They advanced the Juche-oriented ideology and theory of building insurance, founded the first genuine insurance institution for the people and energetically led the work to ensure that the institution contributes to promoting the well-being of the people.

The corporation has been developed into a powerful economic means which can contribute to the building of socialist economy and the independent and creative life of the working people for the past 70 years, fully displaying its popular nature as insurance under socialism.

It has a number of branches across the country and widely conducts the work to protect the properties of all the sectors of national economy and the lives of the people.

It has also ensured the normalization of production and management activities and promoted the living of the people by assessing the damage by all sorts of natural disasters and accidents including flood and drought in good time and quickly and accurately paying compensation for the damage.

A meeting marking the 70th anniversary of the corporation took place on Sunday.
