Kim Il Sung's Exploits Praised by Foreign Figures
Pyongyang, July 24 (KCNA) -- Remembrance meetings, seminars, book and photo exhibitions and book releasing ceremonies took place in Nepal, Italy, Norway, Sweden and Angola on July 6 and 8 to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

Displayed at the venues of events were photos showing the revolutionary careers and exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and the revolutionary activities of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

There were also their works and books and photos introducing the achievements made by the Korean people in building a powerful socialist nation.

Narayan Man Bijukchhe, chairman of the Central Committee of the Nepal Worker-Peasant Party, praised Kim Il Sung as the great leader recognized by the whole world.

Dag Norum, chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway, said the President sincerely helped the struggle of the peoples of the countries aspiring after independence, adding that his exploits would be always remembered by humankind.

Christer Lundgren, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, said that the demise of the President was a great loss to the Korean people and the world's progressives and that all people are remembering the peerlessly great man with boundless reverence.

Amalia Alexandr, international secretary of the Angolan Women's Organization, lauded the President for having backed the struggle of African countries for national liberation and building of a new society with all sincerity.

A letter and message to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events in Norway and Sweden.
