Rodong Sinmun Slams S. Korean Authorities for "Human Rights" Smear Campaign
Pyongyang July 24 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the authorities of south Korea, including the foreign minister and the unification minister, malignantly pulled up the DPRK over "human rights situation" and cried out for "cooperation with the international community" when meeting with the UN special rapporteur on "human rights issue in north Korea" on a visit to Seoul.

Commenting on the fact, Rodong Sinmun Monday says this is a cynical ploy of the south Korean authorities seeking to build up a world opinion on the "human rights issue in north Korea" and thus tarnish the dignity of the DPRK and further escalate the moves to stifle the DPRK in collusion with foreign forces.

The south Korean authorities are going reckless in the smear campaign over the already bankrupt "human rights issue", but it is a ridiculous and foolish act.

The eye-opening reality of the DPRK where the popular politics is enforced is arousing the admiration from among the progressive mankind.

In fact, for the south Korean authorities to trumpet about other's "human rights issue" is as foolish an act as pricking their own eyes with their own fingers.

South Korea is a veritable living hell fraught with the worst human rights records in the world.

There was a regime change in south Korea, but a great many people advocating justice and truth are still groaning, fastened with the chains of the "Security Law".

If they are truly interested in human rights issues, they had better settle so many internal problems.
