Noting that it took nearly 10 years for the GIs present in south Korea to transfer their base to Phyongtaek though it had been scheduled to end in 2008, the editorial urged the U.S. to withdraw its forces from south Korea.

Recalling that the south Korean people are staging actions in demand of the withdrawal of U.S. forces and THAAD, it urged the regime to get all the bases back from the U.S. before being branded as a traitorous pro-U.S. regime.
