Rodong Sinmun comments Tuesday that such a unilateral declaration on renegotiations is little short of putting pressure on the south Korean authorities.

It says:

Such an act clearly shows the aggressive and predatory nature of the U.S. which makes no scruple of trampling on the dignity of its colonial servant for its own interests.

As for the south Korea-U.S. FTA, its conclusion was made by traitor Lee Myung Bak under the pressure of the U.S. So, it is a treacherous agreement that makes the economy of south Korea thoroughly dependent on the monopolistic capital of the U.S. and violates the vital rights and interests of its people.

Due to this humiliating "agreement", the agro-stock market, marine products market and public service were completely opened and U.S. monopolistic capital and goods found their free way to south Korea.

The negotiations of FTA demanded by the U.S. is nothing but a pitfall of subordination and death as it will push the south Korean economy and people's livelihood into the worst destitution.

This being a hard fact, the south Korean authorities are adopting a humiliating attitude, not pleading against the unjust demand.

If the FTA is revised as wished by the U.S., the economy of south Korea will be reduced into a worse colonial contract one and its people's living into a miserable plight.

No matter how loudly the south Korean ruling forces talk about "alliance" with the U.S., the latter regards them as no more than its colonial servant.
