Japanese Reactionaries' Attempt to Deny Past Crimes Flailed
Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun carries a commentary Tuesday, 110 years since the fabrication of the "Jongmi 7-point Treaty" for aggression by the Japanese imperialists.

The "Ulsa 5-point Treaty" was a brigandish treaty by which the Japanese imperialists usurped the diplomatic right of Korea and the "Jongmi 7-point Treaty" was an aggression treaty which deprived the feudal Korean government of even its right to domestic administration that had remained only in mere form, the commentary says.

Citing facts to prove that the "Jongmi 7-point Treaty" was manipulated in the most vicious and illegal way, it goes on:

Still remaining in the mind of the Korean nation is the deep-rooted rancor against the Japanese imperialists which inflicted misfortune and pain during their colonial rule over Korea.

But the Japanese reactionaries seized by the militarist ambition are persistently distorting and denying their hideous crimes against the Korean nation.

By nature, Japan loathes to repent of its crimes historically, and it has such inveterate bad habit of justifying those crimes.

A criminal has the intent to repeat the past crimes when he does not repent of his sins and is not ready to turn over a new leaf of his life.

Herein lies the danger of the shameless acts of Japan going desperate to deny the past crimes of aggression.

Another reason sought by the Japanese reactionaries in denying the past crimes is to evade the responsibility for the legal reparation. They are mistaken if they think they can evade reparation by denying the history of crimes.

Japan should know that the more shamelessly it behaves, the stronger hatred and revenge of the army and people of the DPRK will grow.
