S. Korea: Farmers' Organizations Accuse Authorities of Breaking Election Commitments
Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- According to the south Korean online newspaper Chamsesang, the Federation of Peasants Associations in south Korea issued a statement on July 20 in denunciation of the authorities for breaking their election commitments such as rice price hike.

The statement accused the chief executive of reneging on his election commitment in one hundred days though he pledged to accelerate the reform of farmland through the revision of law.

It stressed that the "government" agricultural policy is as same as Lee Myung Bak's and Park Geun Hye's.

The Federation of Women Peasants Associations, too, released a similar statement on July 21.
