Rodong Sinmun Blasts Japanese Authorities' Bid to Step up Building of Fascist System
Pyongyang, July 26 (KCNA) -- The law on punishing organized crimes, that had been retrogressively revised in Japan, took effect on July 11.

The Japanese ruling forces are defending the enforcement of the law on punishing organized crimes, claiming the law is aimed to punish all those involved in case terrorist organization or violence group and other groups of organized crimes plan a crucial crime like abduction and smuggling of drugs, and that the enforcement is important for the safety of nationals.

Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says the law on punishing organized crimes is a product of the sordid trick of the Japanese fascists to suppress the local progressive forces and create a springboard favorable for militarization.

The commentary goes on:

The law is a dangerous fascist law restraining freedom of the ordinary citizens and allowing the surveillance of them.

It is not a war but peace which is desired by the Japanese people.

It is the political purpose of the Japanese reactionary rulers to revive the hideous fascist system and the departed soul of the Japanese imperialist era.

They seek to gag the local progressive forces, media and people and bind them hand and foot.

The danger of the law as a fascist law lies in that it can suppress even the progressive figures who disclose the distortion of history under the law on punishing organized crimes.

Japan is openly revealing its nature as a war state, a fascist state.

Should the Japanese authorities truly stand for safety of their nationals, they should stop the fascist moves aimed at fabricating a war state.
