DPRK Gains More Medals at Asian Weightlifting Championships

| Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) -- The DPRK has proved successful at the 2017 Asian Junior and Juvenile Weightlifting Championships in Katmandu of Nepal. Kang Hyon Gyong bagged three gold medals in the junior women's 58kg category event on July 25 and other players seven gold and two silver medals on July 26. Song Kuk Hyang won four gold and two silver medals in the juvenile and junior women's 63kg category. And Pak Jong Ju lifted 138 kg in the junior men's snatch of 69kg category and 174kg in the junior men's jerk of the same category, thus coming first. |
