Establishment of Peace-making Regime Demanded in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, July 29 (KCNA) -- According to the south Korean online newspaper Tongil News, the South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration held a press conference in Seoul on July 27 in demand of halt to the U.S.-south Korea joint military drills and establishment of a peace-keeping mechanism in the Korean peninsula. A statement was released at the conference. It stressed that it is an important and urgent task to replace the Armistice Agreement with a peace pact and establish durable peace-keeping mechanism on the peninsula. |
