The WPK's history is the proud course in which it has led the confrontation with the U.S. to victory through successive offensive by matchless courage and pluck.

It is the steadfast will of the WPK to put a definite end to the struggle against the U.S. imperialists which has lasted generation after generation through successive offensive.

The WPK set forth the new line of simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of nuclear force in order to defend the sovereignty of the country from the unprecedented nuclear threat and blackmail of the U.S. imperialists and successfully carried out the line without an inch of deflection and a single step of concession.

Steadfast is the will of the army and people of the DPRK to steadily bolster up the war deterrent both in quality and quantity, not giving the enemies a chance to come to their senses, and thus make the U.S. write the last page of its final doom in its mainland in face of the might of the Paektusan army under the uplifted banner of the new line of developing the two fronts, no matter how loudly they may talk about maximum pressure and engagement.

The WPK has put forward self-reliance and self-development based on science and technology as the driving force of socialism and rapidly developed the country's science and technology at the speed the enemies can hardly guess by relying on the large contingent of scientists and technicians boundlessly loyal to the party and the revolution.

The DPRK's reality goes to clearly prove that only when it holds hegemony in the field of science and technology, can it overtake imperialism in the race of national power and even a small country and nation exalt its dignity as a strong country and a great nation.
