U.S. Sanctions against DPRK Totally Gone Bust: Rodong Sinmun
|
|
Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) -- The DPRK decided to develop ICBM by itself and managed to attain its goal in the face of the U.S. threat of invasion and ceaseless and vicious economic sanctions against the former, Rodong Sinmun Sunday says in a commentary. It goes on: The U.S. left no stone unturned to stifle the DPRK by force. It resorted to all nasty moves to bar the latter from gaining access to rocket technologies, equipment, etc. because the latter tried to have powerful war deterrent to cope with the U.S. moves. The U.S. didn't hesitate to mobilize the UN to pressurize the DPRK. What matters is the U.S. has not yet pulled itself together, clamoring that the DPRK's move poses "a threat to the globe" and "the international community should join hands in imposing sanctions upon the DPRK". Now that the DPRK has access to ICBM, not to mention nukes, the U.S. is trying to put the blame on others, talking rubbish. It also claimed that it would intensify its independent sanctions while trying to apply tougher sanctions by using the UNSC. The U.S. sanctions are a total flop. The desperate moves of the U.S. imperialists will only redouble the will of the Korean army and people to dynamically accelerate the bolstering of defense capabilities and the building of an economic power while holding fast to the line of simultaneously developing the two fronts. |
