Project for Higher-level National Integrated Power Control System Brisk in DPRK
Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- It gains momentum in the DPRK to put the national integrated power control system on a higher level, as part of the efforts to make effective use of electric power.

For this, the Ministry of Electric Power Industry strives to perfect an integrated production control system embracing all power stations across the country.

It also channels big efforts into raising the safety in operating the electrical network and ensuring the profitability in power supply.

And all substations are being equipped with such power control devices as digital multi-functional watt-hour meter and data concentrator.

Meanwhile, research institutes under the ministry, in close connection with relevant units, speed up developing or upgrading programs to gather and analyze the detailed information on electric power production and supply in real time.
