S. Korean Authorities Urged to Stop Treachery
Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- The south Korean ruling quarters' anti-reunification and confrontation moves will face bitterer condemnation of the public and finally meet the same disgraceful end with that of the conservative group of traitors, Rodong Sinmun Sunday warns in an article.

The article says:

The south Korean authorities, frightened at the news of the successful second test-fire of ICBM Hwasong-14, made a great fuss, holding a consultative meeting with the U.S. and Japan and begging surrounding countries for cooperation in tightening sanctions on the DPRK. The chief executive gave an instruction on "examining independent sanctions against the north" without any calculation about consequences.

The hostile forces should clearly know that sanctions and pressure can never work on the DPRK.

Tragic is that the present south Korean authorities fail to understand that their criminal confrontation scheme through anti-DPRK sanctions with the backing of outsiders will be led to their own destruction.

They should remember the miserable fate of the preceding "government", which went bankrupt due to its persistent anti-DPRK sanctions racket.

The reality goes to prove that sycophantic treachery and confrontation policy is a despicable crime and foolish deed of inviting self-destruction.

The south Korean authorities should ponder over the consequences to be entailed by their confrontation racket pursuant to the U.S. anti-DPRK policy.
